We love our shotgun 2.0 combo. It is well designed and made with quality materials. Assembly was a breeze, I truly think anyone could do it. The added weight (30lb toddler) wasn’t bad getting used to. Super happy with our purchase. We have an adventurous 2 year old and it has been so exciting introducing him to the world of biking. Can’t wait to see how far we both progress.
The only thing I wonder about is how we will adjust as he gets taller. I am 5’7 and my chin is right about his helmet. It’s a smooth ride now though!

It's quite expensive compared to similar alternatives. However, it's worth it. When assembling it, every piece of it gives a similar quality feeling like a new Lexus or a new iphone :)
Compared to the attached-at-the-back seat riding is much easier and my daugher absolutely loved it. I don't know how, and don't want to know how is the compared safety in case of accident. But the chance of accident is surely lower than with the seat at the back. It's very comfortable and nice. And very great quality.
I regret not buying it earlier. My daugher is already 3.5. But my son will continue using it when he grows a bit :)

Riding with the Shotgun seats has brought so many giggles, laughs, and weeeee to our family bike rides. We’ve tried all the ways of bringing your kid on a ride with you (bike trailers, Wehoo Turbo, etc.), but there’s just something about having the child being on the bike and holding the bars that gives you both a more involved, connected experience.
The upgrades made to both the seat and handlebars makes this child seat one of the best ones on the market AND one of the most affordable ones.
